The Galaxy Nexus

A long anticipated phone is about ready to hit the market. The Galaxy Nexus, which has been the brain child of the folks at both  Google and Samsung, was originally referred to as Nexus Prime. This    new smartphone has many terrific components that make it quite a  competitor for current phones. 

    One of the Galaxy Nexus’s features includes a sizable HD Super  AMOLED screen measuring in a 4.65 inches. The resolution is just as  impressive with 1280 by 729 pixels. The Galaxy Nexus will also be    the first smartphone to use the latest version of the Android  operating system. This latest Android version, known as Ice Cream Sandwich, has yet to be released on any current smartphone. 
    The Galaxy Nexus also comes with the new standard dual core processor measuring 1.2 GHz. The amount of storage that one can get with their Galaxy S phone is either 16 GB or 32GB. It allows users to choose the amount of storage they will need. The Galaxy Nexus also comes with 1 GB of RAM.
    OF course, the Galaxy Nexus does include a camera. Not one but two camera devices are built into the Galaxy Nexus. One camera is in the rear part of the phone. This rear facing camera features a 5 megapixel resolution. It also boasts an LED flash which can help    take better quality picture in low light conditions. Users are also able to take panoramic photos with the Galaxy Nexus. Another camera is built into the front of the phone but only measure 1.3 megapixels. This makes it much easy for video chatting. 
    A host of other features have been built into the Galaxy Nexus. It comes with an accelerometer which makes it possible to view the touchscreen in either portrait or landscape mode.
